  • Cabot Cafe

    Located in the Quad, the E entryway of Cabot House to be specific, this student-run cafe is a great place to chill out away from Harvard Square. (Photo creds: Cynthia Guo)

  • LISE Buckminster's Cafe

    This is a cute cafe located between the Science Center and Pierce (go out the backdoor of the Science Center) in the LISE/Mckay building. Lots of natural light to work in!

  • SEC

    The SEC Café is located centrally in the the Science & Engineering Complex on Level 1, just west of the main atrium. Surrounded by indoor and outdoor seating, SEC is a bright and welcoming space for gathering and a great meal.

  • GSAS Commons

    Located in Harvard Yard on the first floor of Lehman Hall, GSAS Commons serves the Harvard community as a restaurant at lunchtime and as a graduate dining hall at lunch and dinner. Ample seating makes this a lovely, central meeting spot for a meal with friends or colleagues.

  • HDS Commons

    In the beautiful, new Swartz Hall, the HDS Commons invites you to connect with your community over a delicious meal. Offering hot and cold breakfast selections (8-10:00am), made-to-order lunch items(11:30am-1:30pm), and coffee and grab-n-go (8am-2:30pm). Coming soon, extended hours for the coffee bar, serving expresso-based coffee drinks, pastries, and grab-n-go selections (2:30-6:30pm).

  • HKS

    Dining at the Harvard Kennedy School is as diverse as the community who studies and works there. A range of hot and cold breakfast selections is available until 9:45am. Lunch service runs from 11:30am-2:30pm. Light snacks are available in the interim periods. The HKS Café has extensive seating, but you can also take lunch outside to nearby JFK Park for a lovely break in the day.

  • HLS Pub

    Sink into the rich red and paneled wood scene at the HLS pub. This community gathering spot offers a wide selection of beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Light pub fare is available from the adjoining cafe until 7:45pm. Drop by for a casual drink or snack after classes.

  • Northwest

    At the Northwest Café, we keep the community brewing with Peet's coffee, and a variety of breakfast, lunch and light snack options. The café has plenty of seating, but you might also enjoy dining on the lawn in front of the Museum of Natural History, before or after your visit there! Be sure to take advantage of our reusable mug discount!

  • Clover/Science Center Cafe

    Clover offers coffee, tea, fries, baked goods, and more, all conveniently next to the Cabot Science Library within the Science Center. Great for a study break or grabbing a bite between classes. (Photo creds)

  • Tatte

    It’s rare to walk by Tatte when it isn’t packed! With amazing food and a convenient location right outside Harvard Yard, if you can manage to find a seat inside or outside, it’s a great place to eat and work.

  • Flour

    Tucked away beside the Charles Hotel, this is a great place to get food and drinks with your friends.

  • Peet's (Capital One and Regular)

    Both are on JFK Street. Great coffee and study vibes!

  • Saloniki's

    Great tasting Greek food accessible from inside the Smith Campus Center or just outside it. Present your Harvard ID when you order to get free fries with your meal!

  • El Jefe's

    Burritos, bowls, and more located close to the river houses and open until 4am. You’ll probably end up here more than you anticipate.

  • Tasty Burger

    Tasty Burger offers more than just good American food with an underground bar and event area often utilized for different social events. A great night time burger spot!
